# Search titles, text, tags, and Assets

Quick Open now searches the substance of a workspace, not only filenames.

## What changed

- Search document titles, excerpts, full Markdown text, and tags together.
- Include Asset filenames and metadata in the same result set.
- Show a matching snippet so you can understand why a result appeared.
- Combine exact keyword matching with semantic retrieval for harder queries.
- Fall back to cached titles, excerpts, tags, and Asset names on native clients while offline.
- Give compatible AI clients the same permission-scoped search boundary.

Search never exposes documents or Assets the current account cannot access.
