# Voice notes

Letter.md now supports voice notes for moments when speaking is easier than typing.

## What changed

- Record a voice note from the iPhone app and keep the audio with your document.
- Transcribe on device when supported by the device and system.
- Play recordings directly from document views with compact inline controls.
- Review the transcript and continue shaping it into ordinary Markdown.

Voice capture is currently centered on the iPhone app; playback is available in supported Letter.md document views.
