# Connect notes with wiki links and backlinks

Letter.md can now connect related notes in both directions while keeping the relationship readable in Markdown.

## What changed

- Type double square brackets to find and link another document.
- Create a missing linked note without leaving the editor.
- Open linked documents directly from the writing surface.
- See which documents link back to the note you are reading.
- Keep links portable as familiar wiki-style Markdown text.

Backlinks update the surrounding context without turning the editor into a dense knowledge graph.
