# Organize a workspace on Canvas

Canvas adds a spatial way to understand a workspace without replacing its folders or Markdown files.

## What changed

- Place document cards and folder frames on an infinite canvas.
- Pan, zoom, and use the minimap to navigate larger collections.
- Open the original Letter.md document directly from its card.
- Share one synchronized layout with workspace collaborators.
- Preserve pending layout changes locally and retry them after reconnecting.
- Collapse folder frames when you want a quieter overview.

Canvas is a beta workspace view; moving a card changes the layout, not the document's folder or content.
